RonMaiden Part of me still misses the old wheels especially being gunmetal in color but my wife loves the new ones and a happy wife is where it's at. IMO the new wheels look smaller probably due to the dish design where the new wheels are flush with the tire.

RonMaiden Yes,I do think the sidewall could be a little thinner lookswise but for real world driving with potholes and other road surprises I like having that bit of sidewall and the tires have a rim protector built in which helps a little as my wife already has touched a curb twice. The Subi is wearing it's winter wheels right now and it has the same size as the Focus has on it and the look is quite a bit different when I go back to the 18"s with 245/45 size tires.

Infam0usprime Do you think having 215/50 is to much sidewall for 17s? I have this problem right now I don't know which to choose

Bogey I like both, Y spokes are where its at! :-)

RonMaiden I knew Ford wasn't going to touch it and I was iffy how Discount was going to handle it but they stepped up probably in part to the $2500 I spent there in the last 10 months plus my mom just bought a set of tires for her 4Runner and her Mazda3 at the same store.

They are growing on me and once I get to spring and really give the car a deep clean and detail job I'm sure it'll look great along with a new spoiler and a 1" drop.

Kevastator I know firsthand how much it sucks to lose a wheel while in motion, so I'm glad the wheel stayed on when the studs broke haha

I liked your old wheels, but the new ones are just oh so purdy

Deftmetal On my cobalt, gm blamed the studs breaking off on me having rims made of aluminum. It's really nice that they looked after you

IngotMK3 Not really a fan, but if you like them thats all that matters.

RonMaiden It's the one on Wadsworth and just north of Belleview. I've been going to that same one for over 20 years so I've spent my share there with the cars I've owned.

2012sel Which of the three Discount Tires in Littleton? It's nice to here they took care of the issue and deserve a shout out.
