Awesome! And No Prob! It's always good to be able to help someone out! And nice with the small hands, I have rather large hands and was barely able to do it, it took me quite a few tries since I ended up cutting instead of stripping the wire :/

Can I tap into that purple/green wire with more than one accessory? Say, I tap into it with the radar, can I also tap into it with my GPS? Or will that be too much for it?
Since its for two small things, you should be fine, if you're worried about it, just put a relay in

If you need anything else, I try to respond asap

nickstewartroc Basically you cut open the cord that goes from the radar detector to a cigarette lighter socket, correct? If so, you will need to connect one wire to the purple with green, and the other wire to ground, basically any metal on your car

nickstewartroc Whats your model radar? Just want to look up the manual to make sure I don't tell you the wrong thing and break yours!

Snyper Not an actual photo, since I didn't feel like undoing what I had done with the wire, but it's just like this, except instead of being a white, red (close together so rather hard to even notice there is a white), and black, it's just a white and red.

Not dumb at all! As for what wires, can you post a pic? Is it just white and red, or is there a black wire or anything?
