I personally have been involved in two distracted driver, multi-car, rear end accidents in fours years, with the most recent one on 10/13 that cost me my Fusion. You have drivers who drive with emergency flashers on in perfect weather, but more when it rains. Don't get started on un-insured drivers.|

Rhode island and NJ are famous.
I hear that in Jersey you shop for insurance before the car, just to see if you can put it on the road.

I'll agree with the Korea statement but add that the rest of the southeast Asian countries aren't any better. In Thailand, A typical 2 lane road in the states is stack 4 across. When you come to a stop sign, you've got 3 cars side by side and 20 mopeds in between all trying to go different directions. On top of it all, you can always throw an elephant in the mix....just for fun. Here in the states, I would have to say pretty much any Military town. You take drivers from all over the country with their own local driving styles and cram them into one geographical area. And just because, Norfolk Va is problably the worst I've seen. I'm pretty sure whoever designed the highway system was on drugs so you throw a bunch of sailors from around the country onto a poorly designed highway system.....HORRIBLE!!!!|

|strtrkstooge||Most of my life I've lived in NJ. At the time I noticed that DE, and PA drivers visting our shore points were terrible. Living in DE now for over 1.5 yrs. MD drivers seem to be the worst in the 4 states. I live off of I95 near a very popular mall. Due to sales tax free shopping we have drivers from PA,NJ and MD here all the time. Many drivers seem to drive as if they're playing a video game. My pet peeve is those who practically climb into my car at at stop light (they are that close.) They must feel that by leaving no space between them and the car in front, they will get there faster. When I move up, so do they.|

The attitude here is "hey, if you were from around here, you'd know who I am and where I am going. Since you're not from around here, get out of my way, carpetbagger". Also, if YOU signal, they immediately peg you as a, well, a carpetbagger.|

On a bad day(which is usually about once every 2 or 3 weeks or so) someone here is usually seriously injured or killed because they:
1. Drive the wrong way on a one way street.
2. Drive the wrong way on a divided highway(I was nearly killed by someone on NEW YEARS DAY doing this while I was driving to work).
3. Walk out in the middle of the street expecting traffic to stop for them, thinking the pedestrian crosswalk will apply to them-even if they're no where remotely close to a crosswalk(a.k.a. jaywalking).
