Buy Trim Pry Tools!!
Just wanted to add for those looking at doing this, buy some nylon Trim Pry Tools (harbor freight #69668 $7.99). Save your self from breaking a tab on a $25-$XXX trim piece. I was trying this with the tools i had at home, couldn't get the first trim piece up, trim tools only took 20min a piece.

How did you get the A/C panel out in the first place?

I got the ac panel out but can't get it back in. Is this side panel the reason for it? Just seems like the clips won't go in

|TheHumbleGeek||Sorry mishka, missed your last posts! To get the shifter bezel out, you have to pull kinda firmly where the clips are in each corner. If you have a plastic trim tool, it really will help. I don't, but when i was pulling up, the gear indicator popped out and i used that to pull up on the bezel until i was able to CAREFULLY slip a knife blade under the silver bezel. I used the blade to put alittle pressure on the clip while i pulled up from the bottom of where the shift boot is. It will eventually unclip. Mine did so rather suddenly and at first i thought i broke it. I checked and it was fine. Once you get that bezel out, you should be able to get the climate control panel out.|
