tarasalex On mine, it's the air intake. It's loose and sometimes rattles,, and when I rev the engine, the rattling stops. If it is, all you have to do is screw a metal piece between the engine an the filter and it should hold it in place. Hope this helps.

bluenotefab I replaced my mounts with the poly dog bones and the rattle disappeared. Now my oil pan is rusty and rattles.....

spurtis55 mine was the end links to the front sway bar they went bad...replaced and cured the rattle...

SVTisRight4me i have this problem. mine is the heat sheild between the car and the exhaust. look at that to see if its loose before u do a bunch of other work.

Rattle noise

Same problem. It's either coming from the shield by the transmission or it sounds like its coming from under the motor.

Problem Solved!

While doing an oil change Friday, I was laying down and bumped a bolt on the cross member and it made the same rattle noise. So I poked around and found it
So I am STOKED no more annoying god-awful rattle noise

JKane Lower Trans mount is always a suspect, can't hurt to upgrade it!

The heat shield on the cat did make a rattle noise at 2100RPM, but I took the cat off. Yay RT Cat

I replaced the trans and passenger side mounts. I still have the rattle :/
Im going to put the stock dogbone back in and see if that does it.
