rambleon84 The SVT suspension kit is great one that will really wake up the handling and not break the bank either.

I'd try calling Village Ford, see if their price is better for it...They are a sponsor here and give us a great price on OEM parts.
Maybe look to replace some of the bushings, 165k will have worn those out too. The noise over bumps could also be the front sway bar endlinks, look to replace those with ones that are grease-able.

Normal solid rotors by centric or napa, paired with a decent pad should be more than enough for the brakes. Make sure the wheels are balance, the rubber is still decent, get alignment and you should be happy with the results.

Suspension Upgrade

New to ZX3s...I got my son a 2002 ZX3 paid $2K. No accidents ever so that was a plus , along with only one owner. 165K on it..Took it by my mechanic and he said everthing looks good with exeption of struts. Makes noise going over bumps and railroad tracks. It came iwth 17" rims and low profile tires. Looking to change out front struts, rear shocks, rotors and brake pads and asking advice on what to replace with. Looking to eventually make it in to a play toy for him after Bootcamp. also wondering abpout difficulty. Never worked on a car with tranverse engine
