|Dorny9||So I called FSWerks and talked to the guy who always picks up... must be the owner... and asked him about the affects that new england weather will have on thier cool flow intake. He said to go with the ITG Filter with the PRe-Filter. ITs better with water as it doesnt retain as much. As far as driving through a 7inch deep puddle goes, welllll dont. but the crappy splashy wet and sticky road services shouldnt do too much harm on the ITG. He said the piping of the intake goes well behind the bumber away from splashing water. He also said the reason he put the GREEN filter on is because people like choices. ITs just as quality made as the ITG but is a different material. GREEN is AMerican Made and ITG is British|

I also have the outerwear prefilter. I don't ever drive through puddles anyway, but there'll always be that one time at night and you can't see or when you're just not paying attention and can't get out of the way in time.

|Kipp||always a good idea to take it easy during snow or heavy rain. try not to take it over about 3k rpm and you should be fine.|

It's supposed to snow here again this weekend. I'll check the filter after driving to see if anything looks like is hitting it or sticking to it but i doubt we will get dumped on.

|en_focus||TMDJ5 did your CAI come with a splash guard or did you fabricate one?|

|TMDJ5||Anyone have any experience with driving the fswerks cai in snow? Like light fresh powder. I had to drive in it the other day and was really concerned. I have the splash guard and all. Just concerned with how easily soft snow could get sucked up into the filter.|
