HeartbreakOne I did my snorkel delete 3 weeks ago. I also have a fswerks intake. Idk if its placebo but the car feels more responsive at 35+mph. I have a commute 50 miles to Tahoe and after driving to work one morning I popped the hood to see how cool the intake was with the heat shield and snorkel delete and it was noticeably cooler than the rest of the engine! Woo hoo to this mod

stuff1138 You won't get enough water in your intake to cause any issues unless you submerge it, or maybe if you drive into the wind in a hurricane...haha

Tigeo If the ST doesn't have water intake issues neither will the NA with the delete. Ford wouldn't have designed the ST this way if there would be an issue.

mikesusz good to hear!

i think the only time i've had any concern about water getting in was in a touchless car wash, and i turn the motor off during that.

Truth in Ruin Snorkel Delete update:

I took a 4 hour road trip. It rained the entire time, and twice it rained so hard that I had to slow down to 40mph in a 70mph. With a snorkel delete, and AEM drop-in... It passed the "water worry"

the pushpins should be reusable, unless you damage them while taking them out

I know Steeda makes a ram air too but it's like $130 bucks. way to much for a piece of plasitic.

Sorry for the late reply as I have been planning my wedding the last few weeks.
This is the part I have fitted as it is fitted to the Focus ST and helps smooth the air out into the air box. I looked at the Ford Racing snorkel but where the std snorkel fits; there is plenty of fresh air getting in there and is a high pressure zone anyway. I wouldn't spend all that money on the Ford racing one. The ST one over here cost about 5 to purchase.
