j007klein Parts are now all in hand, the wiring roughed together and the weather is supposed to break so I plan the fog light install in my wife's 13 Focus SE this weekend. One question I have is, how do you remove the driver side console/shifter surround for drilling of the on/off switch hole like in the attached pictures? I'm not in the car much so I have no idea how all the trim interconnects and attaches....

THANKS GUYS!

JOE

danbfree [QUOTE=frizz;6624137]My fogs are installed and functional. I got the spyder kit from Amazon. All I needed to buy extra was a fuse tap so I would not have to cut into the factory harness.

So I ordered this kit off eBay, I will need one of these if I want to avoid cutting the factory harness?

Manufacturer & part number?? I too have the Spyder kit to install in my wife's '13 Focus but want something a bit more OEM looking than the cheesey stick on switch that came with the kit.

THANKS
He posted it on the other thread that brought me here... link to the switch, I want one for my cheapie fogs too! http://www.ebay.com/itm/16mm-Driving...506&rmvSB=true

Focus 13 Yes. That way they never come on when only the parking lights are on.

TheHumbleGeek You mean, so they come on whenever your lowbeams are on?

Focus 13 I have a question, it may be dumb but I'm curious.

Couldn't you just tap the hot wire unto the lowbeam wire so that they work with the lowbeam lights?

OldFartsFocus Cool! I bought the 2014 Manual on CD before I knew about this.

Thanks!
