Codreamn The mount bolts come in from the top and bolt to the sub frame. you will more than likely have to jack up the car and check from the bottom, this will also make it easier to find out what really is loose especially if you have someone helping you.

Codreamn I think the mounting bolts there referring to is the rack & pinon mount bolts,i would take it back to the guys who put it in and have them check it.

Steering issue?? HELP

I had a new rack & pinion put in, then got new tires and an alignment on my '00 LX. After I picked the car up, I noticed that the steering wheel literally can move side to side without engaging the rack... I went to the place I got the tires and he said that the mounting bolts could be loose and to check them. Problem is I have no idea where said bolts are.

Where are they and how do I access them?? and Is that the issue I'm having here?? It really is extremely weird, I've never experienced a steering wheel like this in all of the vehicles I've driven.
