gonefhsn My wife drives ours everyday and hovers around 25.5 mpg with 85% city driving. which I don't think is to bad considering the average EPA for mixed is 26 mpg.

cbdallas Actually, I'm the opposite of that. My foot was WAY more often to the floor in the Titanium because of the power deficit (with respect the ST, that is). The ST doesn't require nearly as much throttle to blow around slow idiots in the left lane. But less throttle doesn't mean it's getting better MPG than the Titanium...I just don't have to thrash it as hard.

rambleon84 I would bet the average ST owner is more likely to get on the gas more often than the non-st owner as well. I wouldn't be surprised if both were driven the same, that difference in mpg would be smaller.

This car has proven to be WELL worth the 2 mpg deficit.
Yeah that's a no brainer there.

theshrewz Ive been averaging 31-32 on my 2012 Se sport with 5 speed and I do about 50/50 city highway, with a 35 minute crappy commute in stop and go traffic 5 days a week

ST Mileage vs Performance Tradeoff

A look at fuelly.com shows that the 30 '13 STs on there are getting a combined average of 25.4mpg, compared to the 50 '13 regular Foci getting 29.3mpg.

That's less than the 5mpg drop predicted by the EPA testing.

Not a bad tradeoff at all given the increased performance.
