elsolo I haven't touched an '08, but it's simple on a 04 and probably the same:

-Three small screws that hold the glovebox door on at the bottom.
-Three phillips head pushpins that hold the cloth/padded trim under the glovebox
-One screw that holds a small airduct to the blower motor, plainly visible with glovebox door removed.
-Three screws that hold the blower in, they go straight up/down
-One electrical connector to the blower motor

Once the blower motor is out, the black plastic cover is removable if you push in the three rubber detent tabs, it pops off exposing the motor armature and brushes.

It will probably take you 15-30 minutes to take apart the first time. You just need small hexdrivers or socket set for the small screws, they are hex head. phillips screwdriver for the push pins, and I needed to use three small acrewdrivers/picks/whatever at the same time to push in the detents on the motor cover.

Today, I took the blower fan out (again) because it was making a scratchy sound, there were two small leaves wrapped around the armature shaft of the motor.

Cabin air filter is starting to sound good just to keep the large debris out.

Ok that might be it as last time I was refilling my windshielf fluid there were some leaves scattered throughout the engine. How do I get to the blower fan?

Is something broken with my heater?

For the last two weeks I've noticed that when I turn on my defroster heat is also coming up from my feet. Should this be a concern?
