BC_ZX3 Picture is worth a thousand words...
Stock exhaust fitted to every non-SVT Zetec shown below - one catalyst, unless your engine description and model year is incorrect. As Whynot suggests, get under the car yourself and compare.

whynotthinkwhynot They lied? Misunderstood? Have you double checked under the car for yourself to be sure that you have the part that you're looking into purchasing? Exhaust is fairly simple, and easy to figure out. Really, wouldn't you rather have one than 2 cats?

What problems are you experiencing? Do you have any DTC? If so, what is the number?

derekmcinerney7 I have read on numerous places and was told by two shops that it was my upper converter by the manifold and not the lower and the part is like 686 bucks by magnaflow

sleepyboy Oh and are you sure it's the cat that is bad? A lot of times it's just the sensor that is.

sleepyboy You only have one on your model year. You can buy a Magnaflow replacement one HERE at CFM or anywhere else on the web. It's always good to cross shop around, I would also check Rockauto.com as they beat most prices or even Partsgeek.com I've seen a lot of great deals on there as well.

Upper catalytic converter

So my upper Catalytic converter went bad today. I want to buy the parts to do it myself but can't seem to find the upper converter anywhere. Anyone have any links or suggestions where to find it?
