Very impressed with that portion of the car. Can't speak to the 4-door, but the hatch is a handling dream.
I had an 08 335i coupe. Other than the ballsier engine sound and *maybe* slightly quicker steering ratio, I absolutely agree. The mk3 really feels quite solid around the bends.

Something tells me that a 335i Sport would gobble up just about everything you tossed at it.
I'd think the same^^^^^^^

miket1320 I have the Kumho ECSTA AST 225-50-16 mounted on the split 5 spoke rims, big difference in handling from the generic 215-55-16 that were on it when I bought it.
BTW got the Kumho' s fro Discount Tire @ $55 each....sweet!

John W I was able to spend some time on the Blue Ridge Parkway coming back from Wintergreen last month. Great road, especially when traffic is light. This was my first trip down it in the Focus.

I'm planning on the Steeda rear bar soon. I'll be interested to hear how you like it over time -- and if it becomes noisy. I had one of their bars on my 05 Focus and it worked great, but was annoying. I still feel like it was worth the trade-off, though ...

When my tires wear out (I only have 5k miles on my car), I also plan to replace them with the Kuhmo 4X. I've heard mostly positive things. ... I will, however, just be buying a set for my factory 16" alloys.

e30og awesome...tires make so much of a difference and this car handles so effing well right off the bat. tempted to get the Steeda just to see if it feels different from all the recommendations here, worth it?

Zillon Glad you're enjoying those tires and wheels, amigo.

???

My experience has been that some tires are quieter/noisier than others under hard cornering.

I ordered the ST struts from Tousley Ford

Also I really need to get the Steeda bar before going to the Dragon in the summer.
