BagBarn to our knowledge the only difference is the actual strut/shock dampening, and the spring rate.. the suspension it self bolts in the same way. just the same as you could run an ST strut in a regular focus, you could run an ST air strut in a regular focus

Seriously the exact way I want mine to sound. Where did you see that clip?

sailor Well, we know it starts with an entire engine/trans/axles swap at a minimum.

Add in everything in the engine compartment for plumbing/wiring and the shifter/cables/pedals.

The big unknown is really in the wiring. You might need to swap an entire harness to get the proper wiring from engine to ECM.

Whether the axles will fit to the knuckles/hubs needs investigation, we know the Struts fit the same but what about hub splines? Are the knuckles the same for distance from center line? This part might be the no-brainer, as you prob. want the whole ST brake setup anyways, the question is how many parts needed to get there.

papaacer I have a lot put into the car already. I have plenty of people that have done plenty of swaps. My friend just finished his GT500 swap in his crown Vic and it runs wonderfully. I'm not worried about the hastle. I'm also not worried about the cost. I'm worried about part numbers at this point. What will fit and what won't

Arco-Zakus I meant more hassle and more cost for the whole project by the time you're done.

papaacer Well I mean from the donor car. I wonder if I could run a deal with the owner

More than you predict. For both.

I do think that the only way to do it would require a complete crunched donor to be practical, too many "little things" could trip you up without that complete access for comparison/sourcing.

MAJOR yard sale of leftovers to recover costs afterwards.
If the BCM is truly the same, I may only need the ECM. I can get other stuff calibrated with my Ford dealer. I "can" get the other stuff, but I wonder how much a hastle and how much more it would cost
