In the two years I have owned my 05,I have only seen ONE st,and none for sale. How rare was this car anyhow? I have looked at every focus sitting a parking lot, driving down the road, etc and only saw one in two years? Maybe it is just m area that doesn't have very many of them.
That'd be a great move= a 23 w/ 5spd, rear disc brakes to start. They only came in 4 colors= blk, charcoal, silver & red. The '05's had trac/ control & a 6 disc cd player standard. The '05's can use the earlier suspesion kits= a lot more choices. The '06-'07's had the t/c & 6 disc cd player as an option. You can get the sap pkg 1&2 as an option. The '05's came out in the middle of '04 hence the longer production run. I looked at svt's when I bought my st. Don't forget 'bout shipping also.

2.0 L I live in a tiny little town, and there are 4 here. 3 with SAP. Ha. And I know each of the owners. Probably a total of 7 or 8 seen total though throughout my focus years.

vanace I've had my 2005 ST for 8 years. I love this car to death. But at 157,000 miles it is time to move on. the only thing beyond normal maintenace was one alternator replacement. It is a FUN car that is comfortable and quick. My 2013 focus ST will no doubt put my old car to shame and I will love the new one more... but I will always miss my 2005 ST.

Bob G While helping my son look for a car, I saw a number of them for sale last summer in the Chicago area. All very low mileage. I'm guessing they were what dealers call "lot queens" - they sat forever on the lot because they are manual transmission only. They were a little pricey for a student/first car but would otherwise be an awesome pick for a fun used car.

And yes they were expensive when new. During that time Ford had numerous fire sales on Taurus' so you could buy a loaded mid line Taurus for less money. And nobody wanted a car with a stick.

Nope, looks like 14,003 SVTs and 14,464 STs. Pretty close though!

I think I see more STs for sale than SVTs, which would make sense since they're newer and there are likely to be more still on the road.

Here's the only two I could find within 200 miles of Quincy: web addresses are too damn long

rambleon84 Well compared to the regular model focus, yes they are rare...I want to say they could be optioned out around $20k new in 2005 where as a base model was closer to 14-15k. So that deterred some folks from getting them, 20k for a focus in 2005 was expensive for what they were

How far are you willing to travel? This one is about 100 miles from you
