My driving is about 80% highway/20% city. His was about 50/50 depending on whether he went to his local office of travelled to other properties via highway. Since he got a new job a month ago he's probably 90/10. I usually tend to open throttle when merging onto the highway unless there is heavy traffic.

I must have missed that, thanks! Since I'm not a technician or engineer, I don't have an answer for that. The best way to insure repair processes are created and improved - for any concern - are for those vehicles to be seen by a dealer for documentation which will reach the engineers. Are you currently experiencing any symptoms, ChrisFocus14?

drifter2000 I'm at the point that I'd like to have options looked into. Although the option that I want will get Ford to take back this car, so I can go to a different dealer and get a car that doesn't have this shitty transmission in it.

I've had my clutch replaced at 20k and 60k miles, and now at 85, am seeing the issues pop up again. If the trend continues, this is realistically my last clutch replacement that will be covered under the extended 100k mile warranty. Can I have any sort of confidence that they'll get it right this time?

That is the only saving grace as before, accelerating from zero was different each time....like a roulette wheel. A few days ago he was in my car and complimented how much more smooth mine was. I got my new clothes and seals in March 2015, his in May. Same dealership. The only difference is he drives like a grandma and I'm not afraid to floor it while at highway speeds. Perhaps that's what keeps things wearing a bit better for me???

more power to you, i'm giving them 1 chance to replace the clutch (if it comes to that, just got re-flashed) and then I will be finding my way out of this car. Which really sucks because I love it to death
