Nevin W Did you talk to ford before you did it? They did a recall on the springs and they would have been replaced for free.

mirkrod It was definitely the struts. When my dad and I replaced the front struts, it stopped making the popping noise...

ps... Sorry about the very long delay on this reply. I've been dealing with too many and couldn't focus on my car. Now I'm back at getting it fixed :)

roughly 90K.

Don't know about the end links being replaced... I got the car as is last year.

matmatician No worries :P we will still answer your question! I'd go with the sway bar end links. That's usually the issue. Your springs are most likely fine. How many miles are on the car? And do you know if the end links have ever been replaced?

mirkrod Crap... I forgot to mention that the problem is on my 2002 Ford Focus ZTS.
