De_Oro Here is another shot of the skid installed when I didn't trim it. notice the bow on the left side next to the passenger LCA?

THis is all informative, I'm not pointing fingers, just showing you issues I have noticed and wanted to note them for everyone.

De_Oro Here is a before and after, note: Ive actually trimmed off more than the actual photo shows. This was the area I noticed was affected the most. Just do it slow, draw the line, Your skid should have some nice marks on it from the contact point. Give it a shot, I didn't want this skid to go to waste and I know you don't either!

And in all honesty, I wouldn't make a skid with those flaps. It takes 2 seconds to take the skid off with a powered drill so do your self a solid and take the skid off when doing oil or anything. It helps!

I love the part but I was curious if anyone could give me some tips on how to make that cut or if anyone's got the measurement for it so I can make the cut myself.
I had to cut mine with an angle grinder and I am a curious as to why GTGhost has not commented back on my messages I've notified him on... So im not the only one.

I have modded mine and trimmed it to fit. I noticed a horrible engine vibe when I first put it on. Then felt a loss of power as to why? maybe it would not let the transmission shift due to the new pressure point it created. I cut the spot out that made contact with the undercarriage and have not had a single issue since. Now when I go to the dealer, ehhh Im putting that carpet skid back on

Edit:

I now happily say I get from 27mph (Select Shift Mode) - 42 mph (D Mode) in my 13' Hatch Ti
