Miller88 It really doesn't go under the engine; just under the front "bumper"

TMDJ5 Thanks. I wanted the Fswerks cai intitially but was gonna ditch it for the Steeda short ram because of the Hydro lock threat. Wanted to just avoid the headache altogether. I can see the ground through the engine bay and the guard only covers maybe a foot behind the front bumper, so it's really deceiving. Seems like one puddle would just drench the filter.

PSUrivie ^this, FSWerks sells a prefilter that works really well.

Very effective, but if you are still worried simply put a hydro filter cover on it and your extra protected

Kipp look under the front bumber and you should see it laying horizontally behind it. it doesn't go back far.

2008 Ford Focus Can someone post a picture of this item installed? I don't think I have one on my 08

Thanks!

PSUrivie The Mazda 3's have a cover under the engine. With a little ingenuity you could make it work. The Foci and the 3's have very similar front suspension cradles.

Kipp yeah that's the stock piece. if you are wanting a full cover you'll need to make one or have it made.
