gimmemoreboost Its the same motor. People run headers from 03-07 on the 08-11 foci as well. Go on ebay and search obx duratec header. I'm not sure if anyone stocks them anymore, but I know you can get em on ebay.

fenske Thanks for the info gimmemoreboost, since your post i've checked the OBX Racing website and the only duratec header is for the 05-07 engines. I don't see why it wouldnt' work with 08-10 engine as i've heard of other members using interchangeable parts from the 05-07.

gimmemoreboost Or, get an obx header. Same thing as fswerks, but cheaper. Then get the fswerks stealth exhaust because it has 2 mufflers. And exhaust with a header and 1 muffler sounds like ass. Get cfm's cold air intake, im selling mine. Pm me if interested. Dont get sportlines, they suck. Get h&r race springs, then find a set of struts/shocks on cfm's website. Call them if necessary. Lastly, get a tune so you dont have a check engine light from the header. This can be done in any order you wish.

Oh and one other thing, dont listen to this felix dude. He doesnt know shit.

Eventually Ill get around to working on the engine internals but thats gotta come later when the money actually comes around.
Get a Fwerks header/flex & stealth exhaust system. Get a tune & have them turn off the egr & rear 02 senser. For a 2'' drop get a "Omni kit" & then a '00-'05 Eibach sportline system kit w/ bolt up.

sailor Well, there ARE ATX fans here, and it CAN be "tuned" - Changing to a manual..... yeah, a different car is easier....

Throw out some objectives (what you want to improve) and the folks here will give out ideas on what pieces work, and what works best together....

It'd be easier to ship a atx equipped Foci down the road than a mtx one. Start looking for a '10-'11 SES version, if you prefer the newer body style. Just to add performance wise you'd be ahead w/ a '05-'07 ST via a 23 motor & rear disc brakes & it only comes w/ 5-spd only.

AllCarFan "I cant afford a turbo setup"

"I want to swap in a manual trans" or "buy another focus and build it up"

Sounds a little contradicting.
