FFHatch2013 I asked my local dealer and they are asking $550 + tax installed for a 1-way 600 feet remote start unit. No thanks, I found a reputable shop locally that will do it for $436 + tax with a 2-way remote with a 1-mile range.

Albarry I had to splice in 7 wires and I tucked the hood sensor under the dash. anyone can do this install.

you did it yourself? I have the bi-directional remote start coming as well. The dealer wants 3 hours labor (about $240) to install. I paid $224 for the starter from leviston Ford supercenter. I was kind of leary of doing the isntall because i odnt want them saying any electrical issues were caused from my install.

popwarhomie Best buy told me $750 out the door for them to install a Viper 5901

I can get one from ebay for $200...
