KyleQ Very nice man - I love your caveman instructions :)

I'll do this when my list of other projects wanes...

bile0026 I was able to follow without a problem. Although I am fairly mechanical anyways so that may have helped. I think it was a very good write up. Thanks again for all your help.

night101 I'm glad to hear it went well. Is there anything I should clarify in the installation instructions or is it pretty straight forward?

bile0026 Just finished and it looks great! Super pumped that this was so easy! It's also a super cheap mod (about $20 or so depending on the switch that you get).

night101 No problem. Let me know if it works out.

bile0026 Okay awesome. I think I'm going to get into this tomorrow morning. Thank you for all your help.

night101 Oh right. I cut into it

bile0026 So the blue wire under the dash, was that connected and you cut it? or are there 2 separate blue wires?

night101 Finally! The time has come!

Here are the images and just a simple video showing how to make sure you've got the proper cable at the trunk release.

The cable to insert the test light into
The location of the button
Underneath the plate
Close-up of the mess
This should explain the steps

If you have any additional questions, I'd be more the happy to help.

bile0026 Great. Looking forward to it. I just got all my parts today to get this setup and it would be awesome to get it done this weekend.
