Electrical Question

As stated before, the acc. 12v tap by the center armrest times out after 10-15 minutes of a locked leave. Does anybody know where I can tap into this power source (or alike) before this time-out circuit? I like when it supplies power, but plan to add a shorter time-out circuit (30sec). Any other suggestions?

AddedDistraction I know this is an old thread, but I'm doing something similar and have some questions. What gauge of wire did you use between LED segments? Since these LEDs have such a low current draw, I was planning on making the majority of my wire harness out of 16 gauge copper strand, using RJ12 phone wire (26 AWG Copper Core) and jacks for segment connections. Since I have the moonroof, I decided to put LEDs in the header - back side of the moonroof opening. I'm wondering if that wiring to the roof will need to be RF shielded.

roswelltop Do you have seat covers on the rear seats? I'm trying to figure out what I'm looking at in your "shots from the back".

I like the look AND the price !

RS-wagon I would like to add the ambient lighting to the back seats matching the front of my ST3. To complete the package that Ford forgot too.
