Then you've only seen DIY jobs, or "pro" jobs done by inexperienced applicators.

Here's what dip CAN look like, if properly applied and executed:

stuff1138 I was thinking of using it for very subtle graphics. Not sure of what yet but it was just an idea that popped into my head.

FreeFocus I don't see how it would hurt to try it at least.

Does anyone know if you can spray the glossifier on without any PD under it? I guess like clear but glossy instead of matte.
I would think so. I was tempted to do that over my TFB overlays bcos the flat grey doesnt match with the SGM too well. Pretty sure it will produce a 'glossy' look with a matte feel. I wonder how clear it will actually be.

.... if i'm wrong..... =|

Best bet is to spray a couple coats (3-4) of matte clear first, then glossifier on top of that (1-2 coats).

That would be the correct way to do it.

Yeah it took me almost a week to read through the whole thing haha

I'll most likely get on this Mid November. I still have some rally armor mud flaps to put on first.

Thanks everyone for all the info and great photos. Once I have it done I will be sure to post in here.
