|foxhound720||Nevermind I got it on. Just running snorkel delete now. I noticed that my stock mpg isn't as advertised and I've been driving like a grandma lately.|

|foxhound720||The issue in having is getting the plastic / rubber seal shroud back on correctly so it doesn't hit my radiator shutters haha. I cant get my fat hands in there well enough.|

I did the exact same thing last week (snorkel delete and AEM dryflow a/f) and I feel the difference at midrange....but more importantly, it's helped low speed drivability...easier take-offs (not bogging) when letting out the clutch on my 5 spd. M/T 2014 Focus. I see no negatives in these 2 mods.

But it was fun!

I just put in the AEM non-oiled filter in and removed the snorkel. First off, it does take some finesse to get the filter on so you can shut the airbox cover properly, which was a lot harder than pulling the snorkel out.
The car has a little more power at the high RPMs and sounds great. I was enjoying it too much, wound up wasting a ton of gas on our trip last weekend.

Oh yeah, chatter can go on forever even if the proof was in the orig. post.
braol - you haven't seen the "Oil Change 101" thread yet.
A simple how to on changing oil including info. on jack points and under tray removal ended up as an "Oil Thread" debating anything that might be considered.
One change from the initial info., deleting the snorkel alone is all that's needed (plus the aftermarket filter of course) - optional discussion on other air flaps doesn't apply.
