Where do you start. I bought car last August 2014 and it has been to shop 8 times already. Recall part for transmission is suppose to be on order ( 4 weeks). Now moon roof leaking. doors all are leaking. brakes are grinding andthey said they are fine. I need a good honest dealer. Metropolitan DC area.

cherrock My car rolls back about a foot when I'm in my driveway parking, so I need to use the parking break. The driveway is only at a 10 degree slope

Whatever happened to your lawsuit? Is it still pending?

emet59 I concur. This was my third Ford, and last. It's not just the crappy car with the crappy transmission. It's all the denial and stonewalling by Ford to a problem that they know exists. Equally bad is that the Salespeople continue to sell this car as an automatic, and only after the problems are reported that the service folks say, "Well don't expect this perform like an automatic. It's not. It's a manual with a clutch controlled by a computer." The time to reveal that is BEFORE!! the sale. Not after. This is bait and switch and out and out fraud...I'll be talking to the Consumer Protection Bureau to protect future Focus buyers from being swindled like I was...

greg4focus I got a 2014 SE/DCT in Nov 2013, I traded this month (Feb 2014).

Gave around 18,160 after all rebates, Got $16,700 trade-in on a F150.
F150 was at x, so the trade-in value was pretty accurate.

Of course, dealers can move numbers around on paper all day, but I pretty well had all my numbers in line
and went in with an OTD figure I'd pay, and they accepted it on the spot!

glad I didn't lose more than $1,460! No more DCT for me.

truck just glides right along. I am going to miss the 33MPG in the car, but in the end I'm more happy with the truck!

Paid $17k, got $14.5k trade-in 7 months later. With trade plus $1.5k I bought a new 2013 SE manual for $16k. Subtract 6000 miles fair wear-and-tear from the loss on trade-in, I was out only a couple of thousand, which for my peace of mind and to be rid of the DCT was worth it.
