Only an idiot would take apart a non leaking caliper. Even if it's Ford.
If the car has no braking issues then there is no need for 30K service at all in my view.

|Geezer||If you have money burning a hole in your pocket I guess you could do it, otherwise have that service done when you do your next brake job. If they're currently in good shape, it can wait until then.|

30,000 mile Brake Service?
Wanted to get your thoughts...
Called my dealership and asked about any reccomended 1yr/30k mile service. One of the things they mentioned that they were going to do was take apart the calipers and clean them out to ensure that they lasted for a long time.
Is this a legitimate service to perform around 30k miles? Or are they essentially trying to get me to buy a "blinker fluid flush" (take me as a fool).
