redfocusdrver I did check trubendz, the only problem is that they only have a picture of the magnaflow 3 inch exhaust. I would really like a picture of what Im buying and demo of the sound would be nice as well. Ive been looking into fswerks 2.5inch race exhaust, it has pretty decent low tone to it, which is kinda what Im looking for.

1turbofocus If the AR are not the same then no the housings wont interchange , the impeller / exducer and housing is what sets the AR

Did you check tru bendz

Downpipe and exhaust questions

So I have already posted this in the zetec performance thread but wanted to get the most info that I can.

I have a t3/t4 turbo set up on my focus, I want to upgrade to a 3 inch downpipe from topspeed. Along with that downpipe I also want to get one of their racing manifold. Both of these are v-band style inlets. Would a v-band turbine housing be the same as a t3 housing if their are the same a/r? or different a/r?
Also I want to upgrade my exhaust as well. I have the hks catback on for the moment, but find it to be a bit to ricy. looking for an exhaust thats essentially low in volume at low rpms and louder going up (I know this is the usual case) also looking for it to be 3inch all the way out the back.
Basically my build is trying to create a 400hp sleeper, so I need to squeeze all the extra hp out of anything I can.
