dgoebel I've tried both touchless and softtouch drive throughs and had the same thing happen.
No more, found a local hand washing company for when I can't hand wash it myself.
It's small, doesn't take long once you have your "kit".

dstiefel We just went to camp n gotit stuck in mud. Needed a few guys to push it out. Had to run threw the automatic car wash a few times. No issues. But the gas tube has a 2 peice shutter so i wouldn't think water would get in.

Some Guy From NY While I almost always hand wash, a few times I have gone through a "touch free washer" I have not experienced any issues.

If you have the time to and means to hand wash, your car will look great compared to automatic car washes.

Touch Free Car Wash and Gas Door

Has anyone had the experience of going through a touch free car wash and then noticing that gas door has opened (i.e. the water pressure opened the door)?

And with the cap less filler, how easy is it to get water into the gas tank?

(And before anyone goes off on me for taking my car through a touch free washer, I have seen the light and now plan to hand wash (at least when it's warm enough in MN). I am doing this in stages -> got car wash soap and tire/wheel cleaner. Will add waxing, etc. later.)
