hurricanefloyd41 Well now it got complicated. So I found the fuse #41 a 7.5 and replaced it. Now the issue is after two starts the fuse blew again. It says the fuse is radio and cluster accessory. What would cause this to happen? My first thought was the amp powering up

04 Ol' Blue SVT Mine does this too!!!! I kind of like it but in a way it sucks too. I haven't checked fuse's either but its definatly not getting power from the one of the wires cause I used a test light on one of the power wires and got nothing. Good luck and keep me posted, I'll let you know if I run across anything too.

freemind It's the fuse box under the drivers side dash. they are numbered. The owners manual pg 63 IIRC

hurricanefloyd41 Here's a dumb question. Which fuses do I check? I looked at the fuse panel but it doesn't show a radio fuse.

02fordsvt Definitely check all the fuses related to the radio before you take anything apart. Hopefully it's as simple as that.

hurricanefloyd41 any way that Would that be a fuse issue or do I need to rip my dash apart

02fordsvt Ignoring all the other problems, it sounds like your headunit is not getting power through the Acc wire. In other words, it doesn't know that the key has been turned on.

SVT Headunit problem

I have an 04 SVT with the audiophie head unit. The other day I turn the car on and the radio doesn't come on. So I press the power button and the radio reads 1 hour and turns on. However, when I turn the car off the radio stays on until I press the power button. Additionally my amp I have wired in doesn't power on and for some strange reason my gas gauge doesn't register for a minute. Any ideas as to what's wrong?
