205 50 15 i hope will put me in 2 gear the full time with better grip and speed i wont need to ever force my car out of 2 :-D i hope

i work at pepboys so i check my aliment all the time for fun ...

and then just the rear bar . and once the sturts seem to wear out kyb agx in the front gr2 for the rear sadly cant find anything better for the wagon

and maybe a better muffler one day like a thrust or something i can get a work cheap and easy

GodLovesUgly If you do swap a bar, swap the rear. Tighten up that rear :p
A cat back wont really do anything..

xShiFTx I started off autocrossing my auto transmission Focus and noticed a difference going from the stock tires down to 205/50-15's, but no experience with the 225's. I also always left the trans in D with OD off if I needed to go faster than what 1st would allow. Didn't make much of a difference if I tried to shift myself or just left it in gear.

scoobygms210 yeah just got done reading the rule book and my first task is rims and tires i just dont know what size i was thinking 205 50 15 or a 225/45/15 idk to lower the gearing and be able to use 2 some .. and then maybe front or rear sway cus one bar mod is aloud and probably with time kyb or koni shocks cus replacement shocks are aloud if the dont have a fluid adjust

xShiFTx Read the rules, ECU tune or cams will take you out of H stock.

If it were me I'd buy sticky street tires and spend the rest of your racing money on seat time.

2002 focus wagon autocross and questions

i autu crossed my wagon again and u can see im doign pretty good in an AUTOMATIC stock wagon
IM 4th in this pic for yesterdays event

i keep getting 4th place or so in novice i wanna move to H stock now sense im almost always beating the mini and tiburan gt around here but i have a HUGE PROBLEM the automatic SUCKS! so bad that i have to leave it locked in 1st the whole run to even have a chances and im hitting rev limiter ALOT but if i shift to second the bottom end of this car sucks so bad i lose more speed then gain and the auto wont shift back down if i punch it ......

ideas better TIRES FIRST sense im on tires from 2008

um sway bars and a cat back should still leave me in H stock here

and the 205 50 15 instead of 205 60 15 should lower the gearing a bit to help me go thru 2nd faster

last is for tom ! would a tune be able to wake my tranny and the bottom end alot ? what mods would be best for bottom end cat back or cams ? with a tune any advice will be appreciated
