They've switched it where if you want the quick shipping you have to be a Premier member . Its like being an Amazon Prime member and you get the stuff in 2 days 3 at the most .

And BluePanda I haven't decided yet but I'll more than likely go with a Barebone's kit and add things as they go on sale . But the barebones will get me up and barely running .

USPS is making me sad this week too...

I've got snowboard bindings coming -- 3-day and they just aren't moving on the tracking number. :(

FocusedSlayer I was just browsing and found this DIY combo deals page , and this has caught my eye.

Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, LED LCD TV, Digital Cameras and more - Newegg.com

These are what I've been getting to make my own external storage .

Rosewill Armer RX304-APU3-35B - External 3.5" SATA III 6 Gb/s Hard Drive Enclosure - USB 3.0 & eSATA Connection, Aluminum Body, 80 mm Variable Speed Fan with On / Off Switch, LED Display Panel - Newegg.com

And I always get an e mail with these on sale . So I've been tryin them out to see how long they last .

TOSHIBA PH3400U-1I72 4TB 7200 RPM 128MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Desktop Internal Hard Drive - Newegg.com

I was running an M5A97 R2.0 for a few years and never had an issue with it. Paired with an AMD 8320 and it was a decent performer especially for the price. That's the only recent experience I have with an AMD CPU socket motherboard.

FocusedSlayer I was looking at a Asrock board but I have never used 1 before. All I've ever built I used Asus boards and dvd drives.

sleepyboy Waiting on this board to get delivered along with the other parts I ordered. Stuff takes forever when it comes from the east coast which is where this stuff is apparently coming from.
