Ralliman Slightly off-topic, but how did you get the wheels to look like that in Forza? I like using it as a reference for things I want to do with my car as well, but one thing I could never do was to get a painted look on any wheels I installed--no matter how I did it, they always looked like colored aluminum.

darkangelism I am getting ready to plastidip my wheels and want to make sure that they are clean.

I plan on rinsing then meguiars all wheel cleaner->rinse->2 bucket with tire brushes->rinse->wipe down with rubbing alcohol->apply plastidip

darkangelism thanks, yeah plastidip should be here on tuesday, so depending on how many mistakes I make should be ready in 2 weeks. I am not doing the spoiler like i did in forza, otherwise it should be roughly the same.

The hardest thing I am doing is trying to get the wheels to have a red lip without damaging the black plastidip

darkangelism After polish and wax. The DA polisher was tougher to use than I thought because of the body lines on this car.

Do you have to use the meguiars compounds with it?

I thought about getting them, but I don't have anything really deep so I didn't think I needed that level of cutting power. I guess I will see after I finish and can get them if there are spots that dont come out, I probably will need them for when I do my girlfiriends car, that has much worse damage and hail damage.

My griots DA came today, so I will be using a DA for all of it.
