eagle_eye735 Well it has been almost two years since my last update. Perhaps a thread revival is in order. Since my last I have run some autocross races and done fairly well. SVT Contour wheels were on for a while but then I had a blowout going 75 down the highway. I haven't had enough money for new tires yet, so I have just been running the plastidipped stock wheels with my winter tires. Tonight I finally finished up a project that I meant to do a long time ago, mounting a SVT spoiler. Here's how she looks now:

What does the future hold? Next up is some performance rubber on the Contour wheels so I can get back to autocross. A header is next after that. With those two things done the plan would be to install coilovers. Now that is going to take time and money, both of which I am very short on, but here's hoping! The Focus hasn't been my priority vehicle wise for the past couple years as I fallen completely in love with motorcycles. Here is my baby, 1999 Triumph Sprint ST 955i:

eagle_eye735 I will have to try that. I'm not sure how well it will work considering the bolt is seized in the insert not at the nut. I will be burning some rubber for sure and there is no real good way to get at it. I'll probably try turning the bolt as far as I can, and having somebody else try to spray some PB blaster into the tiny space and see if we can't get it loosened up.

02fordsvt Sweet.

Have you tried heat for the seized bolt? A torch can work wonders sometimes.

eagle_eye735 So, long time since my last update. I did some more autox, I even got my girlfriend to go along on the last one, I think she is hooked.

Also I bought a Massive lower torque mount

I tried to install it today but one of the old bolts is seized to the insert of the old bushing. I need more PB blaster so it will have to wait until the weekend.

Today I converted to winter mode, got my winter tires mounted on the plastidipped stockers. I also got my summer tires mounted up on the SVT 5 spokes so they are ready to go for the spring.

Also, I plan on getting my SVT spoiler installed once I get back home for semester break.

That's about it. Ohh, I have lots of leds on the way for fun projects over semester break. I'm thinking lighting for under dash and under seats, also I am going to revamp my hatch lighting. Probably cup holder leds too. I have some carbon fiber vinyl laying around somewhere; I'll probably find something to wrap.

eagle_eye735 Also I got a replacement reverse light switch in today, so hopefully in the next couple of days my reverse lights will work for the first time since I have owned the car lol.

I removed it as it didn't work with my shift knob, I never really minded it but it looked silly. Also even if I did have previously, I would of had to remove it for the STS anyways.
