Nice Wheels

The tint looks OK, but I really like your wheels.

When I first saw those wheels at a few years ago I wasn't too impressed with the double ridge around the rim or the indentations in the spokes where they meet the rim, but seeing them on your car changed my mind. The shape of the rims also makes them look less bulky than the Titanium handling package wheels. Good choice.

Scougar I thought it was real cool having dark tint in my Honda S-MX.... until I had to back up, downhill, in the dark on a pitch black country road. At the time I wasn't used to the vehicle... but I would advise against it if you didn't have a camera.

Many states have a medical exemption, where if you are sensitive to bright light your optometrist can fill out a form to let you legally get darker than normal tint.

(NH does not have this.)

If you are just worried about heat or UV protection, you can probably go with 70% tint on the windshield or side windows and it would be very hard for an officer to know there was any tint applied.

Yup, pretty much... My province says back/sides have no max, but front and windshield MUST be clear. (Most who get front do end up putting something to match it stand out less.)

Again, totally my intent, should an officer request it. My point was just that there are times when speaking to an officer in a rational tone, behaving in a sane manor, and being polite and respectful towards them will keep you from getting a ticket.

( i'm not a lawyer and none of this should constitute legal advice; seek counsel if you have any further questions. :P )
Neither am I :-P Ive just dealt with enough, courtesy of work, that I have the chance to speak to speak to them and understand where they come from, which helps me articulate my reason for tinting. That said, the gf thinks I'm nuts for considering tinting the front...
