Djzx3 Could do ARP, but for the OE kit or even the stage 1, it's not required.

Djzx3 You know I got the OE Exedy kit Felix, and I love it.

You can feel it is a big difference from the stock DMF.

Remember to get some new fly bolts from Ford dealer.

cfmfocus2 Oem would handle the bolt-on parts. If you looking for something with more hp, you would want something stronger.

The Exedy stage 1 has completely different setup. Everything is different. Factory steel flywheel while stage 1 is chromoly. The pressure plate has increase clamping force. The clutch disc has different type of organic clutch material. The springs on the clutch disc center section is different too. It is design to handle more power and rpms than the factory one.

Exedy clutch's

So what is the difference in the oem replacement & the stage 1 exedy clutch kits? Do they both use the same pressure plate & disc, but use a lighter flywheel on the stage 1?
