No, it doesn't get in the way, and I actually am trading her in for a '13 WRX. If you want to buy one I can probably sell you mine.

clc4912 Finally got my armrest installed after about a month waiting for delivery. A definite improvement and the quality is nice. I wish it was a little wider but much better than not having one at all.

clc4912 Think I will order that one. If it is as easy to install as you say, it should be worth the expense to satisfy my wife. She noticed the armrest in my car and now it has become an issue that needs to be addressed.

Honestly, when we bought the car I did not even notice it was not there. Bought mine the next day and now she wishes she would have gotten the SE.

Mucrammada as you can see it's a bit of a difference, but, once again it's after market... so can't really complain too much.

clc4912 Thank you for clarifying that because I was thinking about ordering the first one. Glad I did not. Can you tell me about the color? Nevermind, I saw the photos.

it's a little off, but for aftermarket it looks great...

I have a stick, so i'm actually going to sell my arm rest I got from Europarts and just bite the bullet on ordering the whole center console set for the 2012 se.

So if you have an automatic, this would work great.

Mucrammada The first one will NOT work on your center console with the s. it's a completely different center console.
