|JPfocus23||It goes about to the rear control arms. I need to finish extending it if I want to get the gains from the diffuser. I am currently starting plans to redo the carpet piece out of this same material and make a front lip as well. Just gotta find time to do so.|

Hey guys. Just thought I would pop in on this discussion. I have a custom rear diffuser done on my car. Its not finished completely, I still need to round the edges to flow with the bumper better, but this is what mine looks like.

I did find one other one..
It says in the description that it is for aesthetics, but if you look at the pic, it almost seems to reach underneath a bit.

Not to revive a dead thread, but figured it wasn't too far out of retention.
I noticed the other day, the air getting trapped behind the rear bumper of a focus on the highway, much like others had spotted. Figured I would check to see if any rear diffusers had come to the market, and I did find two.
My only concerns is that I am not sure if these would address the issue of the air getting caught behind the bumper. It just seems to be more for aesthetics.
Any thoughts from those with some experience?

|asting||Out of curiosity, have you considered putting some sort of dampening material on the side facing up?|

On an unrelated note: I'm not sure I'm sold on the stealth exhaust. The power would be nice, but keeping it close to stock sound is a bigger priority for me.
How long have you had your exhaust installed? I saw that thread recently discussing the increase in noise after a year or so of it "wearing in."
Any signs of that?
