FocusFreak09 If u had the neon tubes then I would say drill holes and use zip ties. Since they are led strips I would say use double sided tape the good kind and call it a day. I really don't see u zip tieing the strips to the car without messing with the way the lights hit the ground. If its rice to use double sided tape then call me Chinese cuz I would do it and pull it off.

Trey Like other people have said, red and blue is only illegal if the bulb is visible, or the colors are flashing. I would just use some zip ties it should be fine, I had red on my focus and never had a problem. The only reason you will get trouble is if you are looking for it.

Big Body The under side of the car is coated to protect against rust and road grime. I tell you what. If you bring your car to me I will install them correctly for free! That way your not making your car a bowl of rice on wheels

SvviftSVT 3M tape, if used properly, should be fine. Don't just slap some on and call it a day. It is what is used to hold on part of the Roush midwing. :)
I won't be able to zip tie mine, due to the fact that I built my own kit

lol im with you on this 3m tape is a badddd idea. There are tons of areas you can zip tie them to man. The frame is a prime place and has spots that you can put the tie through

red and blue are legal in texas as long as they do not flash. But at the end of the day any cop can be an and give you a ticket for anything that can be considered a "distraction" to other drivers because it could cause a wreck. Haha this is bull cause there are much bigger issues at hand on our roads

any color can be used "for show purposes only"
red and blue might get you in trouble with the police (as those colors are to be used ONLY by emergency vehicles)

any other color shouldnt get you introuble.
