10-4! I am obliged to "Dysan911" for his fix - it has worked on our '13 SE. The purpose of my post was just a tip to "chili_red" about getting the bumpstops down. But, from his reply it sounds like unloading the suspension does not always mean that the stops come down easily. Makes me wonder why mine were easy to budge but chili's are not.

Thanks for the clarification/credit given to Dysan!

Sounds like you got enough grease in the bumpstop but, for future reference, may I suggest that you raise the side of the car up so that the suspension is unloaded (i.e.--the wheel is hanging). This opens the spring a little more and you may find it a lot easier to pull the bumpstop down. With the suspension unloaded, the b/s softly clicks back into place, too.

HTH,

Chris
Chris, I did jack up the car and remove the tire so there wouldn't be a load on the suspension, there was no way to get in there with the 18" rims still on.

The bumpstop on both sides was literally impossible to get to move down, the dust boot was really easy to get lowered, it was really easy to get a nozzle in from the bottom of the bumpstop though, I got a good oz or so of grease in each one.
So far still no noise, and was really an easy fix, very happy with the lack of suspension noise now.

I couldn't get the bump stop to pull down like they show in the picture, so I attached an applicator tip from a tube of silicone to the tube of Super Lube and was able to push if up far enough from the bottom of the bump stop to inject a good amount of grease.

Squad-G I just want to add my two cents. I had a weird noise coming from the front since a year or so. It did happen only when the car is warm yet not too much nor too cold. It did happen on snow or extremely imperfect road.

After almost 10 hours of work spread over a year, the chief tech found out after a road test with me it was probably not suspension related (and also all TSBs done). Bottom line, it was the resonator who was not thight enough. The noise is gone now, I hope it'll stay that way. I'll report in few months.

Almost hard to believe that greasing a bump stop would get rid of so many different noises, "the rocks in the rockers didn't help either".
Anyone else having noise issues I'd grease those bump stops if you haven't, you may be surprised.
