sailor Fun experiment at least, takes a couple tanks of each at least to get decent results (2nd and later tanks give more accurate numbers).

Usually remains a little more expensive after MPG improvements, but it's the cheapest power/driveability improvement you can make.

Yep I'm currently doing that now. I just got my Focus and I'm still on my first tank of premium after reading through this thread and everyone showed me the light. Definite improvement in throttle response and it doesn't bog down like it did on 87. So far I'm seeing about 2mpg improvement versus 87.

davisg02 I have access to Ethanol free premium 93 grade, and its about .20 cents more expensive that regular 93. Is it worth it to get the ethanol free gas or are there any benefits that anyone knows of that is running ethanol free premium versus regular E10 premium that could sway my buying decision in the future?

Truth in Ruin I've only ever put 91,93,95,100 octane in it for over a year. So the 87 was very noticeable.

"Cutting out" = boggy dog shit... Does that work?

Rath Rides it shouldn't be "cutting out".....
