JMD787 Looks great, any idea if this bulb would fit in the puddle lamp area?

I love the idea of the puddle lamps but they don't light up the area very much.

Also, in the owner's manual it says the license plate LED light is dealer serviceable only. Go figure.

STL 314 I just installed some "Cool White" LED's in my puddle lamps too. They look really good...subtle, but big difference. I also found out that the license plate LED is not a 194 wedge. Can anybody help identify these?

these replacements are a little brighter than the license plate bulb IMO.. from a quick glance, they look the same tho

I burned my fingers taking the stock bulb out, and tried the same with the led, and after 10 minutes, there was no heat at all.
Great idea ... this will be one of my first mods. Sorry about your fingers with the incadescent bulb, but glad to hear about the "coolness' of the LED!
