CDNFocusFan For that little shelf, my dealer gave me a ford pouch that fits my owners manual and a bunch of other paperwork + my ownership and insurance. It fits perfectly in the little shelf.

I had a base SE rental and it didn't hurt my cable at all. It was just a $10 Walmart (Belkin) cable though.
doesnt hurt the wire. i plug my phone into the cig lighter and then throw my phone into the centre consol..so is closes nicely on the wire as long as its not poking out the side. gotta come out the front to the left or right of the latch

I think that is what mine is. As I mentioned it fits perfect in the slot for the manual.

Fits perfect in that slot. And I have the securing cable looped around the back of the glove box where there is a opening. Since our glove boxes do not lock, this gives me a way to lock up my gun if I need to, like if I bring the car to a car wash, or in for service....or valet park it.
Very nice. What is the brand/model of that lock box?

lol, I initially thought these slots were for some kind of sensor like the bluetooth mic up above the rear-view mirror on some cars.

Well, at least I hope it not a sensor I keep shoving my cards into

It is such a precise fit, a card is the only logical conclusion.
