You will be able to set the shift RPM and shift PSI it wont matter if O/D is on of off

ATX tune settings?
I searched threw the other ATX posts but didnt find anything about my question.
I dont have a tune yet but thought ide ask a few things about the ATX tune first.
I have an 07 ZX3 SE with the 2.0 duratec and auto trans.
When i start it the tranny always defaults with the O/D on. I find myself switching it off (green button on shifter) because the stock shift points seem better when its OFF. It seems slugish and shifts way to early when its in O/D. I know its for gas milage but its slugish.
With an ATX can i request the O/D default to off?
Can both trans modes be tuned? When the O/D is off it feels as if its only a 3 speed. When its on it feels like it has another gear or other sets of gears or somthing. It seems to shift more often usualy way to early IMO.
Has anyone with an ATX had a tune say O/D off but with adjusted shift points. O/D on left stock or vise versa?
It might be better with them both adjusted or does it even matter? Im not really sure how the tranny actualy works just how mine seems to feel.
This might not be the right way to use it but i have other mechanical issues (handicap controls which limit WOT) I usualy drive around with the O/D off like i said, when i get on the highway i wind it up (around 60mph) then switch the O/D on and it shifts into those other O/D gears and then i cruse from there in O/D
Maybe with a tune i wont need to switch ATX modes any more
