Godzukidan If you had gloss green wheels you would be in the 16's....lol. Way to go. I may be running this weekend at Tristate. I have a buddy that runs there all the time in a Honda CRX, he is running 14.70's. He is a good old guy, (64 years old) and running an import. A little on the crazy side maybe. He wants me to run his friend that runs a 2008 VW Rabbit with the 2.5 litre. He is running low to mid 16's, so it should be a good race. I am hoping to run a 16.5 or better.

etayman First think I want to say is nice consistancy. second I ran 16.8 my first zetec time out with lots of wheel spin and hop so you can do better. The only thing that i had that you didnt was flexback, and i drive a manual. The next time i went out i ran 16.62 with the same mods 4 less psi in the front and left the line a little easier, and Im prety sure that next time out im going to hit 16.5s no problem. So I would say practice. Try,

32psi in the front, max in the back
remove speaker equitment and spare/jack(Should help with your top speed a little/ acceleration too. 100lbs=.10sec.)
pre stage with the e brake up and your foot on the gas till she trys to pull foward
dont just floor it when you drop the brake try close to 3/4 till your hooked and moving then full(That should get that 60'er down a little bit)

Try those things with and whatever else you feel you should. Every car is a little different so tweak how ever thats just where i would start. In my opnion i think that you will be posting a faster time with in a week.

I predict 17.3s in your near future at least.
Good luck
