Andrews-bad-SE I once had a '97 Mazda Protege with the an A/T. I did something similar with it... But I had somehow made it to where I don't have to press down to move the selector. I know it sounds unsafe... But I really liked it that way. Is there a way to do this with the Focus???

arjay219 Is the O/D button necessary? Even if you had it off, it resets to "on" every time your turn off the ignition and restart the car. It's recommended that ATX's keep it on for best economy.

When would you turn it off? Should it even be worried about when doing this mod?

Cool idea though!
