|Magus2727||Going to ask the question as why? Most anyone with out an SVT try to upgrade to the SVT airbox and snorkel. Use a drop in K&N Filter and that's going to be the best intake you can use unless you go full cold air but here in Utah might be more danger than its worth due to hydro locking while driving through wet sections or getting caked with snow during the winter.|

Evening fill in activities. There is an amusement park Lagoon that is could be worth a few hours. not sure of hours.
there is quite a bit to do downtown if your into clubs or bars.

We are actually going to the Octane Academy at Miller's, so I can check a couple of those boxes already.
So, the flats are under water and the lake is low? haha. That seems backwards and disappointing.
Really just looking for evening fill in activities.

Salt flats are a 2+ hour drive from Salt Lake city 1 way, also we have gotten LOTS of rain so you wont be able to go out there or even get on the road that takes out out. its more of a fall thing.
The Miller MotorSports Park museum is good place to go visit (about 30 min drive from Salt Lake). lots of great race cars and put together good.... also they are closing the track down in October so the fate of it is unknown, you can say you have been to the Ford Racing school track also. They also have some killer Go-Karts there you can try.
Lake levels are really low but is a fun thing to say you have done, but be ready for a long shower afterwards to get everything off.
There is the Olympic Village up in Park City. If your into that, its also mostly free.
They built a new huge aquarium in Sandy (Loveland Living Planet Aquarium)
They have a fun natural history museum at "the point" (think its in Lehi)
What kind of things are you looking for?

I'll be coming to visit you guys on 6-4 & 6-5.
What is the 'must see' if I have like 2 hrs to burn? We were thinking bonneville salt flats and seeing if we can float in the lake.

yeah typically the WoW autox isn't very good. you should try the SCCA autox, it's much better.
I may make a couple of autocross events this year, but probably in the wrx.

|prerunnerwannabe||I did an autocross event for the first time last week at Miller's WOW (wide open wednesday) event. It wasn't a very good track layout, but I know for a fact that it'll be better next time, so I will for sure be going again! I actually got an email from them apologizing for the lackluster track and offering to compensate my registration fee for both the autocross and the race course event the next time I go. Great customer service for sure. But autocross was a lot of fun!|

Any time we have tried to coordinate something it does not work out. Are there any Foci going to be doing AutoX this year? I am needing new tires, cant run on my new DD all season tires. so until I get my grippy 140 UTQG tires I wont be doing anything.
I am going to the Miller Motorsports Park season opener... its free and may be the last time so everyone should try to go.
