mlbbaseball I should try that!! I need to drop my times!!! kinda sounds like using a transbrake!!! I've been dragging for a long time, but no one has every told me about that!!

streetracer what psi is in the tires? 2.2 is pretty high for slicks.. i ran a 2.146 on street tires at 30psi with an open diff and spinning a lot.. :/

i need some slicks.. i wanna get under 13 in the 1/4! lol

ZX3_2NV Venom thats an awsome time for street tires preloading is the best way to go add 2step to the mix and its game over and easiest on your transmission most of the time. Good luch and have fun.

ZtsFocus on a humid day i put down 207, 228. im going again soon to see what im putting down now that it is colder out. i got 225/50/15s not sure what that comes out too.

I have never of this on a stick, wtf? really? i have to try this next time!

Also, question for u ZTS? what kinda of slick u running, I'm bout to get 22' in a couple of weeks, how much HP? Tq? LBS?

Thats way I do it....

pulled a 2.00x 60 ft with a stock open diff, on street tires.

ZX3_2NV Preloading will bring that 60 foot right down basically line it up after you light the second bulb. Grab the ebrake pull it up about 3/4 the way up holding in the release button, so it doesn't get stuck up. Bring the rpm's up I usally launch around 5800 on slicks (try different rpms for your set up) QUICK TIP: Usally its best to launch around the same rpm you have the highest whp on a dyno run. Then once you have the rpms up start releasing the clutch SLOWLY almost till its fully disengaged BUT the car won't move or red light since your still holding up the ebrake and then when u see green drop the ebrake let go of the clutch completly and off you go.
