lildisco I believe that you're wrong in saying that zetec flex is 2.25" I have a bosal 2.25" and i compared them before i put them on and the bosal was bigger.

I also called mcnewautomotive and they said that within a month they're going to get an offroad pipe going that will fit with zetec's with the SVT header. He also quoted my like $450 for the SVT Header, Offroad Pipe and 02 extensions. Doesn't seem like a bad deal with the Volant Intake is $250 + shipping. Basically for $200 more i can finish up my exhaust and get some really noticably gains.

Hubris Your standard Zetec flex is a 2.25", while the SVT uses a 2.5". You'd either need to grab the SVT flex at the same time you got the header and cat (quite the find!) or else buy a 2.5" aftermarket flex.

EuroZX3 the exhaust is different till the catback. the zetec flex wont work with the SVT header + cat as a bolt on.

If you find a junkyard SVT, you might as well grab the Cat converter and the exhaust......
Now what do you mean by an exhaust. I have a flex and a magnaflow cat back. I like the sound that it makes right now. I know that it will be louder once i get the SVT header, with cat or offroad pipe. But what do you mean exactly?

scott77 new header, especially a 4-2-1, will be a very very noticable difference.

lildisco i really don't need to o2 cheater.....i have the rear oxygen sensor disabled in one of my modes on my superchip. If i go to a junk yard and find an SVT Header is that going to come with everything i need to put it on my zetec? obviously i'll prolly need a new gasket.....And also this would help me keep up with my friend, better than the intake?
